Hunters’ client, a well-established manufacturing business, are now looking for a Trainee Machine Operator to join their production team. Full training will be provided.

Trainee Machine Operator - The Role
  • Set up and operate production machinery to manufacture corrugated packaging products
  • Carry out start-of-shift safety checks and ensure equipment is running correctly
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain output and quality standards
  • Complete basic quality checks throughout production runs
  • Record production data including run times, downtime, and output levels
  • Clean, maintain, and recalibrate machinery at the end of each shift
  • Operate pallet trucks and support general production floor activities as required
Trainee Machine Operator - The Fit
  • Basic education with good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Strong awareness of health & safety in a manufacturing environment
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
  • Good attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
  • Team player with a willingness to learn and develop

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 4:45pm

Friday: 6:00am – 10:15am

44 hours per week
