Hunters’ client, a well-established manufacturing business, are now looking for a Trainee Machine Operator to join their production team. Full training will be provided.
Trainee Machine Operator - The Role- Set up and operate production machinery to manufacture corrugated packaging products
- Carry out start-of-shift safety checks and ensure equipment is running correctly
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain output and quality standards
- Complete basic quality checks throughout production runs
- Record production data including run times, downtime, and output levels
- Clean, maintain, and recalibrate machinery at the end of each shift
- Operate pallet trucks and support general production floor activities as required
- Basic education with good numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong awareness of health & safety in a manufacturing environment
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Good attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
- Team player with a willingness to learn and develop
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 4:45pm
Friday: 6:00am – 10:15am
44 hours per week
