Calibration Engineer / Technician Location: Shoreham, with occasional UK site travel Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: UT £38k, DOE Hunters’ client is seeking a Calibration Engineer / Technician to join their engineering team. This role involves carrying out calibrations across multiple disciplines both in-house and at customer sites, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality standards in line with ISO17025 and ISO9001. The position offers the opportunity to work across a variety of industries, supporting both technical delivery and continuous improvement initiatives. Calibration Engineer / Technician – The Role Perform calibrations across a range of instruments, both on-site and at customer locations across the UK Generate accurate calibration results, certificates, and maintain traceability to required standards Modify and support calibration rigs, tooling, and equipment to meet work instruction requirements Ensure all equipment is fit for purpose, maintained, and operating within acceptable parameters Support audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives in line with quality standards Calibration Engineer / Technician – The Fit Experience in calibration across multiple disciplines within an engineering environment Strong understanding of quality standards, traceability, and measurement accuracy Confident working both independently and as part of a team, including customer-facing environments Competent using hand, pneumatic, and power tools with a practical, hands-on approach Relevant qualification (HND/Degree in STEM or equivalent) with 2–4+ years’ experience preferred What’s on Offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Employee Assistance Programme Private Medical Insurance 5% pension contribution Personal Development Plan
