Hunters Estate Agents are currently searching for a property manager based in our Newcastle office to join our already busy and dynamic team! The Property Manager will provide a high level of customer service whilst building relationships with colleagues and clients. You will manage a property portfolio in aspects of property maintenance, respond to tenants' property issues, update Fixflo, log invoices from contractors onto the system, deal with relevant repair issues, handle enquiries related to utility bills and council tax bills, ensure property legal compliance, and assist others in the lettings/sales department to meet company targets, providing speedy and accurate work in all areas of property management and property asset management.

You will also be responsible for assisting with other relevant property management activities including rent chasing, interim inspections, and tenancy renewals. Liaise with the accounts department regarding all enquiries associated with property management, contractor invoices, landlords' owner statements, and landlords' rent guarantee and insurance products.

The Property Manager works mainly within the branch; however, a percentage of the time will be spent out of the office on appointments, for example, accompanying viewings, inspections, check-ins/outs, etc., if and when this is appropriate. Interaction may also take place with staff members at other letting offices and sales offices.

Organise and deal with daily property management, maintenance issues, and tenants' repairs. Log all invoices on the payment system and liaise with the accounts department to keep rent payments up-to-date, chase rent if tenants are in arrears, and take follow-up actions to assist with rent recovery. Book and carry out interim and check-in/out inspections. Monitor the legal compliance certificates/documents for the assigned properties account and organise/assist with these certificates/documents renewals if necessary. Deal and liaise with handymen and contractors in all aspects of property repair and maintenance issues. Serve relevant legal notices and take action accordingly, updating the system. Apply for HMO and property licences where required and liaise with the council on all property enquiries.

A full UK driving licence is required. Hunters Training Academy is dedicated to training all staff with training courses endorsed by Propertymark (ARLA and NAEA). An attractive target-related bonus is available, and a company pool car is provided.
