Hunters is looking for a motivated and organised Project Support team member to join our growing Major Projects team.

Working alongside experienced Project Leads, you will play an important role in the successful specification and delivery of commercial furniture projects. You'll provide project and administrative support, liaise with clients and suppliers, prepare quotations and help ensure projects run smoothly from enquiry through to completion.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone with at least one year's experience within the commercial furniture industry who understands the fundamentals of furniture projects and is looking to develop their career within a high-performing, customer-focused business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely quotations.
  • Review supplier quotations and order acknowledgements, ensuring accuracy before orders are placed.
  • Assist with tender submissions by gathering information and supporting pricing exercises.
  • Arrange furniture and finish samples for clients and design teams.
  • Coordinate finish schedules and sample libraries to support project specifications.
  • Support Project Leads with project administration, documentation and tracking project actions.
  • Attend client meetings, recording actions and supporting follow-up activities.
  • Attend supplier meetings to strengthen relationships and develop product knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate project information within company systems.
  • Liaise confidently with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Provide support across the wider Projects team to help deliver exceptional client service

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone who combines industry knowledge with the right attitude.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of one year's experience within the commercial furniture industry.
  • A good understanding of furniture quotations, supplier processes and project coordination.
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Confidence working with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.
