Contract Type: Temporary ongoing, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 3:00pm, Friday 11:00am to 3:00pm
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for a Temporary Waste Operative to join the team at JCB Power Systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping areas clean and organized, and is looking for a role with long-term potential. For the right person, this position is highly likely to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and safely dispose of waste materials from designated areas around site
- Maintain clean and tidy workspaces in line with site standards
- Segregate waste correctly and support recycling processes
- Operate waste handling equipment where required and trained
- Carry out routine checks to ensure waste storage areas remain safe and compliant
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a waste, recycling, cleaning, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is beneficial
- Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
