Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting Process Operatives to work at Elkes Biscuit Factory in Uttoxeter. Full inductions and training are provided, and immediate starts are available.

Key responsibilities

  • Checking production programs to understand what products are running and any possible product changeovers that may happen during the shift.
  • Carry out pre start checks on the mixer, whilst completing the pre start check and HACCP sheets.
  • Operating the Mixer ensuring all ingredients are adhered to and documented correctly.
  • Check the mixer ingredients are being delivered correctly to the mixer.
  • Check area for health & safety hazards.
  • Monitor the moulder to ensure the product is progressing correctly.
  • Changing/ washing moulding roller, with the use of a mechanical lifting gear, washing with high power hose, whilst wearing the correct PPE.
  • Maintain regular communication with team members.
  • Adhere to hygiene standards at all times

Requirements

  • Aged 18 or over
  • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Previous food production experience is helpful but not essential
