Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for a Stores Operative with an FLT Licence to join a busy and well-established site in Longton. This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse and stores duties with forklift truck work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading and moving stock safely around the site using an FLT
- Picking, packing and preparing materials for production and dispatch
- Carrying out general stores and warehouse duties
- Completing stock checks and maintaining accurate records
- Keeping the stores area clean, organised and safe
- Supporting the wider team with manual handling and day-to-day operational tasks
Requirements
- Valid FLT Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach preferred)
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or logistics environment
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work throughout the shift
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on health and safety
