Key Responsibilities

  • Setting and operating CNC Machines, with a focus on 5-axis mill-turn machines.
  • Working with Mazak-controlled machines, though experience with other control panels is transferable.
  • Working shifts on a 2-week rotation of days and nights, with initial training on days.
  • Overtime availability and expectation of a certain amount of weekly overtime.
  • Operating overhead crane and FLT.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Significant experience in both setting and operating CNC Machines, preferably with expertise in 5-axis mill-turn machines.
  • Familiarity with Mazak-controlled machines is preferred, but experience with other control panels is acceptable.
  • Ideally, a background in apprenticeship within the machining field.
  • Proficiency in gauging and measuring own work.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained to a high standard.
  • Ability to work shifts, 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet overtime expectations.
