Spa & Leisure Manager
Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: £45,000 per year
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 (including evenings, weekends and bank holidays)
About the Role
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for an experienced Spa & Leisure Manager to lead operations at a fantastic spa set within beautiful countryside surroundings.
This is a senior, hands‑on role where you’ll take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of a high‑end spa operation, including treatment rooms, thermal experiences, relaxation areas, and indoor and outdoor pools. The focus is on delivering a consistently excellent guest experience while leading and developing a large, committed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Spa & Leisure team, including therapists and operational staff
- Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the spa, ensuring high standards of guest service at all times
- Manage treatment schedules and therapist utilisation to maximise revenue
- Control departmental budgets, stock levels, and costs while meeting financial targets
- Work closely with reservations, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior spa or leisure management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and driving revenue
- Confident communicator with good organisational skills
- Solid knowledge of Health & Safety within a spa or leisure environment
