Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established national shopfitting company delivering large retail fit-out projects across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager who enjoys working on fast-paced retail projects.
The role involves travelling nationwide and staying away from home when required, overseeing projects from start to finish while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including site teams and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and site schedules
- Monitor and enforce health & safety procedures and site compliance
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers throughout the project
- Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates
Requirements
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualification
- Previous Site Management experience, ideally within shopfitting, construction or retail fit-outs
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
