Production Operative – Food
Location: Uttoxeter (Elkes Biscuit Factory)
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent & Bank Staff
Hours: Various shifts available – days, nights, and 3 on / 3 off
About the role
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting Production Operatives to work at the Elkes Biscuit Factory in Uttoxeter. This is a food production role with flexible shift options, making it ideal whether you’re looking for full-time work, part-time hours, or occasional shifts to fit around other commitments. Full inductions and training are provided, and immediate starts are available.
Key responsibilities
- Working on production and packing lines within a food manufacturing environment
- Operating machinery safely and following site procedures
- Checking product quality and reporting any issues
- Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
Requirements
- Aged 18 or over
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous food production experience is helpful but not essential
