Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting production operatives to join a busy and growing foundry team in Ellastone near Ashbourne. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn a skilled trade, with full training provided in linishing and fettling to help finish metal castings to a high standard. If you're hands-on and willing to learn, this could lead to a long-term, permanent role.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out linishing and fettling on metal castings
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensuring all finished parts meet quality standards
- Working closely with the production team to meet targets
- Keeping your work area clean and organised
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- A good work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Previous manufacturing or production experience (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable and able to commit to long-term work
- Weekly pay
- Full training provided
