Location: Cheadle ST10

Pay: £15.00 per hour (upwards, depending on experience)

Contract: Temporary-Permanent, Part‑Time

Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 9:30am - 2:30pm

About the role

Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well‑established, family‑run civil engineering company, to recruit a reliable Part‑Time Office Administrator. This is a hands‑on role supporting the Office Manager with the day‑to‑day running of a busy office. It's ideal for someone who enjoys staying organised, juggling tasks, and being a key support to a close‑knit team.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the Office Manager with daily administrative duties
  • Organising, maintaining and updating company records
  • Processing invoices, receipts and basic expense records
  • Ordering office supplies and ensuring equipment is well stocked
  • Handling general office admin and responding to enquiries as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role
  • Confident using computers, with good Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organised, adaptable and able to manage a busy workload
  • High attention to detail and able to work on your own initiative
  • Experience with UKAS ISO 9001, 45001 or 14001 is an advantage (but not essential)
  • Previous experience in construction or civil engineering would be helpful
