Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for Metal Finishers/Foundry Operatives to join an established foundry client based in Ellastone. Founded in 1966, the business has decades of experience working with ferrous and non‑ferrous metals and supplies components into sectors including automotive, aerospace, engineering, food, and architecture.
This is a hands-on role in a busy foundry environment. We currently have two vacancies: Metal Finisher/Fettler and Caster. The Fettler role offers a genuine opportunity to be trained and developed into a Caster position over time. Due to the location, driving would be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Fettling and finishing cast components
- Linishing and grinding to remove excess material
- Assisting with mould preparation and casting processes
- Carrying out quality checks on finished components
- Keeping the work area clean, safe, and organised
- Previous foundry or metalwork experience preferred (training provided)
- Comfortable working in a hot, industrial environment
- Good attention to detail and manual handling ability
