Labourer
Location: Rocester
Pay rate: £12.95 per hour + overtime at time & a half
Contract: Temporary to permanent
Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm, Friday early finish
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting a Labourer to join a team based at our clients compoud on the JCB Rocester site This is a hands‑on, outdoor role where you’ll be trained to fit slave (temporary) wheels onto construction machinery. It’s physical work in a dirty environment, but you’ll be part of a supportive team and gain valuable experience working on heavy plant equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Fitting and removing slave (temporary) wheels on construction machinery
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Supporting the team to prepare machinery safely and efficiently
- Manual handling and physical tasks throughout the shift
- Following site health & safety procedures at all times
What we’re looking for
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Happy working outside in a dirty, industrial environment
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn – full training provided
- Previous labouring or construction experience is helpful but not essential
What you’ll get
- £12.95 per hour, paid weekly
- Overtime paid at time & a half
- Full training provided on site
- Early finish on Fridays
- Free on‑site parking
