Job Title: Fire Systems Engineer
Location: South East England, such as Kent / Sussex (excluding Central London)
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Pay Rate: Starting salary of £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, with on-call rota and overtime available
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for a Fire Systems Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team working across the South East of England, excluding Central London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to work with a reputable company servicing commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and install Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Nurse call and access control systems.
- Complete job sheets accurately
- Responsible for managing stock levels in vehicle
- Deliver excellent customer service on-site
- Participate in on-call rota and optional overtime
- Travel across South East England (door-to-door pay included)
- Good knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems is essential
- Based in Kent or East Sussex (preferred, not essential)
- Reliable with smart appearance
- Ability to use a multimeter to measure Volts AC/DC, Ohms and Amps
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Full UK driving licence required
- Right to work in the UK
