Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting a bank of reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operatives to support cleaning operations at the Elkes Biscuit Factory in Uttoxeter.
This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking for regular Saturday work, whether you're seeking additional income alongside another job or need flexible weekend hours. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the production facility.
Before starting, all operatives will be required to attend a site induction. Inductions can be arranged on an ad hoc basis to suit availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning and sanitisation of production areas and equipment
- Follow site hygiene procedures and food safety standards
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Ensure work areas are clean, tidy and ready for production
- Complete cleaning records accurately where required
- Report any maintenance, safety or hygiene concerns to supervisors
- Previous industrial or commercial cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a factory environment
- Willingness to attend a site induction before commencing work
- £12.71 per hour
