About the role
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting an experienced Head Chef for a prestigious hospitality venue at Hoar Cross Hall. This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for a chef who enjoys being on the pass, leading by example and running a well-organised kitchen. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, maintaining high food standards, supporting menu development and creating a positive, motivated team environment. Quality, consistency and teamwork are at the heart of this role.
Key responsibilities
- Lead from the front, cooking and plating to a consistently high standard
- Oversee the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Train, mentor and develop chefs and kitchen staff
- Support menu development using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients
- Manage stock, control costs and minimise waste
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, HACCP and health & safety standards are met
