Job Title: General Labourer - Engineering
Location: ST4, Stoke-on-Trent
Contract Type: Temporary-Permanent
Pay Rate: £13.30 + £1.50 shift allowance per hour
Hours: Night Shift
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for a General Labourer to join our client's site in Stoke-on-Trent (ST4). This is a hands-on role within the paint department, which can be a messy environment, and requires someone who is practical and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
- General labouring within the paint shop department
- Hanging steel parts onto hooks to go through the pain process
- Putting away parts and stock-taking
- Quality checking of parts
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Using lifting equipment safely (full training provided)
- Previous experience in an engineering environment preferred
- Physically fit
All successful candidates will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test on their first day as part of the induction.
This may be suitable for candidates from Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, or Longton, or for candidates considering roles such as Production Operative, Factory Operative, or Warehouse Operative.
