Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well-established and growing engineering company within the fuel storage sector. Due to ongoing expansion, they're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team, covering customer sites across the UK.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be out on the road, supporting customers with installation, maintenance and repairs. If you like variety, problem-solving and working independently, this could be a great fit.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out diagnostic testing, fault finding, and repairs on fuel-related equipment
- Installing and commissioning new systems on customer sites
- Completing service reports accurately and on time
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers
- Responding to callouts promptly and professionally
- Ensuring all work meets health, safety and environmental standards
What we're looking for:
- Experience with mechanical, electrical or electronic systems (including AC/DC and 3-phase)
- Confident using hand tools and carrying out practical engineering tasks
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Basic IT and networking knowledge
- Flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team
