About the Role
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting a Commis Chef to join the award‑winning kitchen team at Hoar Cross Hall, a luxury spa and hospitality venue in the heart of Staffordshire. This is a great opportunity for a passionate chef who enjoys working in a fast‑paced kitchen and wants to develop their skills in a high‑quality environment. You'll support the Chef de Partie and wider kitchen team, helping deliver consistently excellent food and memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen
- Preparing vegetables, meat and fish to the required standard
- Assisting with stock control and ordering
- Ensuring all dishes meet quality and presentation standards
- Following food hygiene, health & safety and cleaning procedures
- Completing daily food and fridge temperature checks
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Commis Chef or similar kitchen role
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
- Good understanding of food hygiene and quality standards
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen
- A positive team‑focused attitude with good attention to detail
