Location: North Anston Sheffield
Pay Rate: £14-£16 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 (40 hours per week)

About the role

Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well-established engineering business looking to add a skilled Coded Castings Welder to their team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality welding and enjoys working with a variety of materials. There’s a clear path to a permanent position for the right person.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out coded welding to customer specifications
• Weld a range of materials including nickel-based, exotic alloys, carbon, stainless, duplex and super-austenitic steels
• Use TIG, MMA (stick) and other welding processes to a high standard
• Read and work from technical drawings and welding procedures
• Use hand and electrical tools such as grinders, callipers and squares
• Work safely at all times, following site procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements & qualifications

• Proven welding experience in Mild Steel and Stainless Steel (weld test required)
• Strong MMA (stick) welding skills
• Experience with TIG and other arc welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Professional welding certification (e.g. ASME IX)
• FLT licence preferred but not essential
