Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established and prestigious engineering company supplying precision components to industries including aerospace and automotive. This is a permanent night shift opportunity offering excellent earning potential, modern facilities, and the chance to work on high-quality engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes
- Producing precision-engineered components to exact specifications
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Carrying out first-off inspections and quality checks
- Adjusting machine settings to maintain production efficiency and quality standards
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
Requirements
- Time-served and skilled CNC Turner
- Proven experience programming and setting Fanuc-controlled lathes
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and precision tolerances
- Ability to work independently on night shifts
- Experience with sliding head lathes would be a distinct advantage
Pay & Benefits
- Basic rate of £17.00 - £18.00 per hour depending on experience
- Night shift premium paid at 1.33x hourly rate
- Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
