CNC Lathe Operator / Setter (Weekend Days)
Location: Walsall, Toll Point Facility
Pay: Up to £13.31 per hour + Weekend Working Allowance (up to £19.96 per hour)
Contract: Ongoing agency.
Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00am to 6:00pm

Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for a CNC Lathe Operator / Setter to join a well-established manufacturing business supplying components to globally recognised OEM customers. This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team where you'll play an important role in producing quality machined components while developing your skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set CNC lathe machining centres using Fanuc controls.
- Carry out daily and weekly basic machine maintenance tasks.
- Perform quality checks using micrometers, verniers and hard gauges.
- Adjust machine offsets and make minor corrections to maintain product quality.
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues, supporting colleagues when required.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures while meeting production targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating CNC machines.
- Experience with Fanuc-controlled machinery is preferred.
- Ability to use measuring equipment including micrometers and verniers.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Setting experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided for suitable candidates looking to develop their skills.
