Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting an experienced Operations Manager for a well‑established manufacturer and supplier of high‑quality door components. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys being visible on the shop floor while also shaping the wider operational strategy of a growing business. You'll take full ownership of production and operational performance, leading teams, improving processes, and ensuring the factory runs safely, efficiently, and to consistently high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all operational and production activity to meet business, quality, and financial targets
  • Provide strong, hands‑on leadership on the shop floor, managing workflow and people day to day
  • Drive continuous improvement across production, efficiency, waste reduction, and quality
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety, quality, and industry standards
  • Support new product development by planning resources, costs, and operational readiness
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years' experience in an operations or production management role
  • Background within the door industry or a closely related manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams
  • Commercial awareness with experience working to budgets and performance targets
  • Confident, practical, and comfortable operating at senior level
