Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting an experienced Operations Manager for a well‑established manufacturer and supplier of high‑quality door components. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys being visible on the shop floor while also shaping the wider operational strategy of a growing business. You'll take full ownership of production and operational performance, leading teams, improving processes, and ensuring the factory runs safely, efficiently, and to consistently high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all operational and production activity to meet business, quality, and financial targets
- Provide strong, hands‑on leadership on the shop floor, managing workflow and people day to day
- Drive continuous improvement across production, efficiency, waste reduction, and quality
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, quality, and industry standards
- Support new product development by planning resources, costs, and operational readiness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years' experience in an operations or production management role
- Background within the door industry or a closely related manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams
- Commercial awareness with experience working to budgets and performance targets
- Confident, practical, and comfortable operating at senior level
