The Role
Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well‑established engineering business that designs and manufactures aircraft refuelling vehicles used at major airports worldwide. Due to continued growth, they're looking to bring an office‑based CAD Designer into their engineering team. This is a hands‑on role where you'll be involved in real projects from design through to manufacture, working closely with engineering, production and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D CAD models using Autodesk Inventor
- Produce clear and accurate engineering drawings for manufacturing
- Support engineering projects with practical design solutions
- Assist in creating technical documentation such as user manuals and spec sheets
- Liaise with sales, fabrication, and production teams on specifications and queries
- Provide drawing and technical support to mechanical and electrical teams
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English, Maths and Science
- Experience using 3D CAD software (Inventor preferred; AutoCAD and Vault useful)
- Background or interest in mechanical engineering or product design
- Good attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
- A practical, organised team player who communicates well
