Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established business for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is a steady, hands‑on role where you'll take ownership of customer accounts, support healthy cash flow, and build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.
What you'll be doing:- Managing customer credit accounts and ensuring payments are received on time
- Chasing overdue invoices by phone, email, and letter in a professional way
- Resolving invoice queries quickly to avoid payment delays
- Setting up new customer accounts and carrying out credit checks
- Reviewing credit limits and highlighting potential credit risks
- Preparing aged debtor reports and supporting month‑end processes
- Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable
- Confident communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment
- Confident using Excel and accounting or ERP systems
