About the Role
As a Site Manager, you will lead the delivery of fast track fit out and residential work. You will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality site operations while maintaining strong customer service and meeting all contractual, safety, and compliance standards. You will oversee planned works across residential properties, coordinating teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Hunter Stein’s quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operational delivery of planned works, ensuring contractual KPIs are consistently achieved.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resourcing, safety standards, quality, and programme performance.
- Lead and support site teams and subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with H&S regulations, CDM requirements, quality standards, and company operating procedures.
- Carry out site inspections, investigations, and reporting, identifying solutions and driving continuous improvement.
- Liaise with design teams, client representatives, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain a professional approach when engaging with clients, residents, and stakeholders, prioritising a positive customer experience.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and asset management requirements.
- Provide cover for other Site Managers where required and participate in company and client meetings or training sessions.
Role Criteria
- SMSTS qualification
- Asbestos Awareness certificate
- First Aid at Work
- Proven experience in fast track fit out and residential work
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience managing subcontractors and monitoring H&S compliance
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Confident communicator with strong IT skills
Additional Information
All candidates must have the right to work in the UK. To drive a company vehicle, you must be aged 21+, with a licence held for at least 3 months and no more than 9 penalty points. All roles are subject to background, identity, and security checks prior to appointment.
