Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off days / 6AM - 6PM

About:

We're looking for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join a high‐performing manufacturing site and play a key role in maintaining and optimising production performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer ready to step up, or an established team leader looking for a new challenge within a well‐invested, forward‐thinking operation. You'll lead a small on‐shift engineering team, drive reliability, support continuous improvement, and ensure equipment uptime across fast‐paced FMCG lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing a team of engineers across the shift
  • Prioritising and delegating maintenance tasks to maximise efficiency
  • Supporting planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance across production assets
  • Ensuring full compliance with site H&S procedures (permits, RAMS, audits)
  • Working with automation, packaging, and processing equipment (conveyors, robotics, weighing, vision systems, thermoformers, etc.)
  • Working closely with senior engineering leadership to improve performance, downtime, and reliability
  • Supporting training, skills development, and mentoring of team members
