Salary: £31,500 - £35,000 + Bonus

Shifts: Monday to Friday (Days) - early finish on Friday

Company Overview: Our client is a well-established engineering organisation recognised for delivering high-quality technical solutions. They are looking to strengthen their Engineering team with the addition of a Workshop Technician.

This is a hands-on workshop-based role, ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys varied work and working to high standards.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical build, strip-down, modification, and functional testing of equipment
  • Install and rework pipework and associated mechanical systems within the workshop
  • Complete assigned job orders, ensuring work is delivered to schedule and specification
  • Accurately complete technical documentation and job records

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Background in mechanical engineering or workshop-based assembly
  • Essential: experience with pipework, pneumatics, fitting, welding, fabrication
  • Basic electrical awareness is beneficial but not essential
  • NVQ or similar mechanical qualification advantageous
