- Enterprise-level data architecture experience
- Databricks experience is essential
- Experience taking over outsourced architecture and bringing it back in-house
- Experience working as an individual contributor within a team
- Experience with migration of customer data to newer cloud-based servers
- Experience with canonical model design patterns
- Experience with cleansing and ETL
- Experience creating and designing data systems using best-practice standards and principles
- Experience with data roadmap responsibility
- Experience with data lakes, data visualisation, and enterprise service bus (ESB)
- Experience with data governance and compliance standards
- Azure cloud experience
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
- Experience setting long-term strategy
- Technical authority / leadership experience
Responsibilities
- We act as an enterprise-level data architect within the team
- We take responsibility for the in-house architecture after it has been outsourced
- We work as an individual contributor
- We support upcoming projects including migration of customer data to newer cloud-based servers
- We own the data roadmap
- We work with Databricks, data lakes, data visualisation, and enterprise service bus (ESB)
- We ensure data governance and compliance standards are followed
- We communicate effectively with stakeholders
- We help set long-term strategy
