This is a unique opportunity to become part of a highly respected organisation. Role & Responsibilities:The Team Lead supports the Logistics Lead in managing day-to-day operations within the warehousing areas, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and correct first time.During Unsocial working hours (Afternoons and Nightshifts), the Logistics Team Leader will be the main point of contact for all site warehousing operations, ensuring that their direct team is operating safely and to the highest of standards.The Team Lead is also responsible for conducting regular Audits, inspections and quality checks, enforcing compliance to warehouse management systems and all safety protocols, addressing any issues or conflicts within the team, escalating them to the Logistics Lead when necessary.Responsibility of all Warehousing SAP processes and ensuring all stock is correct.Maintaining Health, safety, environmental and quality standardsDeveloping Logistics Operators in all aspects of the processDriving the achievement of leading KPIs of the Logistics Department Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution site, with a strong understanding of Logistics and LEAN principlesStrong skills in managing and motivating a team, with experience in coaching and developing team membersStrong understanding and knowledge of SAPTeam Management experience.
