Description

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our clients\’ Wirral site operations. The role involves developing efficient site processes, leading a critical overhaul project to complete within set timelines, and updating all operational procedures to ensure adherence to best practices.

This position demands a leader who can manage and inspire a diverse team, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a safe and productive working environment.

Responsibilities

The successful Warehouse Manager will oversee the daily operations of our warehouse site, ensuring efficient and safe processes are maintained throughout. This role requires leadership over the team across the site, managing workloads, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Develop and improve site processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Lead a comprehensive overhaul project to ensure all aspects of the warehouse are up to date and functioning optimally.
Update, review, and implement all working procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect current best practices.
Manage, train, and motivate the warehouse team across the site to meet operational goals.
Maintain compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse management or similar operational leadership role.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and process improvement techniques.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to review and update SOPs effectively.
Good communication and organizational abilities.
