We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a successful and expanding process manufacturing business based in South Wales. The company operates specialist industrial processing facilities and services customers across a broad range of sectors throughout the UK. Following continued growth and investment, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team with an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to support plant reliability, continuous improvement initiatives and future expansion plans.
Salary & Benefits:
- Starting salary of Β£34,320
- Salary increase to Β£35,818 after 3 months
- Further increase to Β£36,380 after 5 months
- Β£1,200 annual shift allowance
- Overtime opportunities available

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance across fixed plant equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimise downtime
- Install and commission new machinery as required
- Assist with continuous improvement and maintenance projects across site
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping are maintained in the workshop and work areas
- Work both independently and as part of the maintenance team to maximise plant performance
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Electrical maintenance background
- Previous experience maintaining industrial plant and machinery
- Knowledge of conveyors, shredders, granulators, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatic systems
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment
