An excellent opportunity has arisen for a market-leading manufacturing company seeking to bring an experienced Maintenance Engineer on board. This role involves all preventative, reactive, and breakdown maintenance on a daily basis, with the goal to improve efficiency across the plant.
Role Description - What you will be doing:
- Planned and reactive maintenance work to maximise OEE, reduce downtime and improve machinery performance
- Communicating effectively with the wider engineering team, production, and other key stakeholders
- Adhering to Health & Safety on site at all times
- Ensuring the highest H&S standards and safe working practices are carried out
- Spotting opportunities for process improvements and working with the team to implement those
- Maintenance on mixers, valves, reactors, and other mechanical equipment
- Improvement projects
Skills and Qualifications required:
- Time-served electrical maintenance engineering experience
- Food/FMCG/packaging industrial engineering backgrounds desired
- Previous work in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated to work in a team environment and continue to develop as an engineer
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to train and take on internal training opportunities
