Opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineer to join a successful manufacturing business. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for delivering engineering projects from concept through to commissioning, helping to improve manufacturing performance, efficiency, quality, and safety.
This position would suit a proactive engineer who enjoys managing projects, working with suppliers and contractors, and driving continuous improvement across a manufacturing environment.
The Role- Lead engineering projects from initial concept through to completion.
- Produce and interpret CAD drawings and technical documentation.
- Specify, procure, install, and commission new manufacturing equipment.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is completed safely and effectively.
- Support continuous improvement and manufacturing optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and site regulations.
- HNC/HND or Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience delivering engineering projects within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience introducing and commissioning capital equipment.

- Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
