Key Responsibilities

  • Produce electrical drawings and schematics including SLDs, AC/DC, wiring and keyline diagrams
  • Support projects from design through manufacture, FAT, installation and commissioning
  • Work closely with Production Engineering on bills of materials and component selection
  • Assist in the delivery of MV/HV electrical design solutions
  • Attend site visits and occasional overseas manufacturing visits
  • Support wider team activities and contribute to problem-solving initiatives

Experience & Skills

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
  • Experience with AutoCAD (EPLAN desirable)
  • Understanding of UK DNO, ENA and MV/HV schematic standards
  • Exposure to protection and control systems; relay settings experience advantageous
  • Knowledge of LV installations and 18th Edition desirable
  • Strong team ethic and practical, solutions-focused mindset
