A specialist medical equipment provider is looking to recruit a Junior Field Service Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer, technician or mechanically minded individual looking to build a long-term career within a highly specialised industry.
You will receive full product training through a structured 2-year development plan, working alongside experienced engineers to develop your technical skills and become a fully competent Field Service Engineer. The Role
- Assist with the installation, servicing and repair of specialist medical equipment
- Carry out planned maintenance and inspections at customer sites
- Learn fault-finding and diagnostic techniques from experienced engineers
- Support customer training and provide a high level of service
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
- Travel to hospitals, dental practices and healthcare facilities across the UK and Ireland
The Candidate
- Engineering experience, qualifications or a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Keen to develop a long-term career as a Field Service Engineer
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills and willingness to learn
- Full UK driving licence
