Quality Control Engineer, Kent

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (39 hours per week)

Commutable from - Sittingbourne, Gillingham, Chatham, Maidstone, Rochester, Faversham

£30,000 - £35,000 DOE

Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join the team due to continued growth. The ideal candidate will work as part of a small team in a friendly working environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical validation of products, raw materials, components, and traded goods, including interpreting technical drawings and TDS.
  • Analyse quality data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Create and maintain testing sheets and inspection SOPs.
  • Support root-cause investigations using recognised problem-solving tools.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or laboratory-based quality role.
  • Strong understanding of inspection, testing, and quality control methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong communication and reporting skills.

Desirable:

  • CMM measurement experience.
