We are seeking an experienced NPD Process Technologist to support the development and launch of innovative food products within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with Technical, Operations, Quality, and commercial teams, you will be responsible for translating product concepts into efficient, scalable factory processes while ensuring quality, food safety, and customer requirements are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product and process trials from concept through to launch.
  • Manage factory trials, first productions, and process validation activities.
  • Create and maintain accurate trial documentation, blend sheets, specifications, and quality records.
  • Liaise with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate pre-trial meetings, sensory evaluations, shelf-life assessments, and launch reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, allergen controls, and site procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

About You

  • Food Science, Food Technology, or related qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in food manufacturing, NPD, or process development.
  • Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills.
  • HACCP Level 2/3 qualified (or equivalent knowledge).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about food innovation.
