Role Overview
- Field‑based servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Mechanical fault‑finding, diagnostics and breakdown response
- Planned maintenance across transport depots
- Installation of new and refurbished machinery
- Completion of digital job reports using a company tablet
- Occasional overnight stays for larger installs or remote sites
What We're Looking For
- Mechanically biased engineer with experience on pumps, motors, compressors, engines or similar machinery
- Confident diagnosing mechanical issues
- Able to work independently across customer sites
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
- Willing to travel and stay away when required
Work Location
This is a mobile field role covering a multi‑site patch, with a company van provided. The majority of work will be in the Sheffield and Manchester area, with occasional jobs further afield across the UK and some overnight stays depending on installation requirements.
