Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong UK & international presence, they are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their close-knit team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with quality standard ISO9001, ISO14001 in line with product and service standards
- Root cause analysis, creating non-conformance reports, implementing corrective actions
- Use of process improvement tools - 5S, 5Y, 8D
- Liaising with customers regarding problems and monitor agreed corrective actions
- Maintaining quality documentation, utilization of QMS systems
- Internal and external audit management
- Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering Degree
- Proven experience working within manufacturing environments
- Working knowledge to ISO9001, ISO14001 standards
- Knowledge of CMM's, GD&T
- Reading Engineering drawings
