With no day ever being the same the Senior Naval Architect role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class manufacturing environment. Role & Responsibilities: Design and develop ship structures and general ship design in compliance with international regulations and Classification Society rules. Collaborate with shipyards and design offices to ensure the successful implementation of designs. Develop and design various vessel systems, considering structural and general design implications. Create and manage the approval process for class-required drawings for ship structures and auxiliary systems. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Knowledge of ship international regulations and Classification Society rules. Proven experience in general ship design and ship structures design. Preferable work experience in a shipyard or design office. Experience in the development and design of various vessel systems.
