I'm on the look out for an engineering coordinator for a food manufacturer near Sawbridgeworth. This is a great opportunity for a senior engineer or team lead to step into a role which will assist on projects, planning, budgets, orders, contractors and problem solving across the engineering team.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair processing and production equipment
- Take control of inventory, spares, suppliers etc
- Man-manage an engineering team: train others, create development plans, manage holidays, appraisals and disciplinaries
- Get involved in project works- Planning, machinery installation and modification and asset care
- Ensure H&S, Audits and Contractors are legal and compliant
What We're Looking For
- A multiskilled engineer- either electrically or mechanically biased
- Experience in a leadership/ supervisory role
- A background in food manufacturing and knowledge of the standards
- A recognized engineering qualification
