A growing specialist manufacturing business are looking to appoint an Order Processor to support a busy operation during an exciting period of expansion. Working within the procurement function, this newly created role will play a key part in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from receipt through to dispatch. You'll work closely with colleagues across purchasing, production, stores, logistics and customer-facing teams to keep orders moving and ensure customers receive a high level of service.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator with experience in order processing, customer service, supply chain, logistics or manufacturing administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain customer orders through internal ERP systems
- Check order details, pricing, product codes and documentation for accuracy
- Raise works orders, pick lists and dispatch paperwork
- Monitor order progress and provide updates to internal stakeholders
- Liaise with purchasing, stores, production and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries
- Assist with stock and order-related administration
- Handle customer and supplier queries relating to orders and deliveries
- Ensure all records are accurate and maintained in line with company procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in a sales order processing, order administration, customer service or operations support role
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple departments
- Manufacturing, engineering, logistics or supply chain experience would be advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential

Working Arrangements
This position is based full-time from the company's Clevedon office during the initial training and probation period. There may be some flexibility around hybrid working thereafter. Occasional travel to other UK sites may be required.
