A great opportunity has just become available to join a growing Engineering company, based in Somerset. You will be part of the Sales administration team and enjoy a varied role! You will be someone with some general admin experience, who is now interested in moving into the sales admin side of things.

The Role

  • Handle customer and prospect enquiries via phone and email.
  • Prepare and issue quotations promptly.
  • Record and track enquiries and quotes in company systems.
  • Maintain accurate sales data and documentation.
  • Support the Business Development Lead with quotes, POs, and customer follow-ups.
  • Proactively follow up on quotes, orders, and outstanding POs.
  • Create and manage job records with complete documentation.
  • Prioritise and complete all sales administration tasks on time.
  • Provide general administrative support to the sales and business development teams.
  • Perform other tasks as needed to support business objectives.

The Candidate

  • Experience in admin or sales support, ideally in business development.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional and confident phone manner.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Works well independently and in a team.
  • Stays calm and efficient under pressure.
