Our client is part of a global group, a leader in their field! Following continued growth within their engineering team, they are now seeking a Lead Facilities Engineer to join their days team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Support all site-wide facilities maintenance
- Maintain and repair chillers, steam systems, boilers, plumbing, pipework, and minor building works
- Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, providing technical guidance, support, and day‐to‐day coordination
- Manage external contractors by scheduling work, overseeing delivery, and ensuring all tasks meet required standards
- Maintain full compliance and safety, including required training
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in compliance, with confidence in following and implementing SOPs
- Proven experience managing and coordinating contractors on-site
- Solid health & safety knowledge with a track record of maintaining high standards
- Experience in manufacturing is ideal, though strong candidates from other technical or industrial environments will be considered
