Are you a skilled Service Technician with a strong electrical or mechanical background? Do you enjoy working on a wide range of equipment and delivering high-quality service? We're recruiting experienced engineers to join a market-leading manufacturer whose service team is renowned for supporting household-name clients with fault-finding, repairs, maintenance, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrical and mechanical support, predominantly on dock levellers and specialist loading bay equipment.
- Assist with installations when necessary.
- Participate in an occasional on-call rota and responsibly manage company tools, vehicle, and stock.
- Promote sales of maintenance services and equipment, including spare parts, and advise sales department of possible sales leads.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in field service or other relevant electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with lifting equipment or similar (desirable).
- Welding experience (desirable).
- Valid certifications: Electrical qualifications, or relevant experience; Mechanical qualifications or relevant experience.
