Due to a recent retirement, a manufacturing business in Rochdale is looking for a Night Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be carrying out maintenance and fault finding on PLCs, machine control systems, inverters, drives, and mechanical systems. Due to the 24hr manufacturing operation, there will be some reactive maintenance for breakdowns, as well as scheduled activities to carry out.
Requirements:
- Apprenticeship background
- Additional electrical qualifications are desirable
- Strong skills in control system fault finding and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of mechanical systems
