I\’m seeking a skilled and proactive Production Planner to become an integral part of a well-established, close-knit team. In this role, you\’ll work closely with internal departments and customers to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently. As a family-owned manufacturer, they pride themsleves on a strong team spirit, commitment to quality, and dedication to hard work. Role & Responsibilities:
Overseeing end to end production from order receipt, through to production and shipment
Directly responsible for the Planning Assistant
Input and process customer orders (checking against quotes and maintaining accuracy in their system)
Generate job packs according to the production plan, ensuring correct materials and tools are available – Raise purchase orders for required materials and parts
Identify and report potential production risks
Monitor progress of jobs to ensure deadlines and customer budgets are met
Ensure workspaces are kept clean and safe, following Health & Safety policies
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Must have experience within a manufacturing environment
Good working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
